On Trend Wardrobes Ltd

 

1. ABOUT US

 

On Trend Wardrobes Ltd supplies flat-packed wardrobe systems delivered via pallet network throughout the UK and selected overseas destinations.

 

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

 

2. PRODUCT TYPES

 

Our products fall into two categories:

 

Standard Wardrobe Units (Carcasses)

 

These are regular stock items.

 

Made-To-Order Doors

 

Doors are manufactured to your selected style and paint colour and are classed as customised goods.

 

Returns and cancellation rights differ between these categories (see Section 8).

 

3. PRICING & PAYMENT

•          All prices include UK VAT at the current rate.

•          Payment is required in full at the time of order.

•          Orders are confirmed by email once successfully placed.

•          Prices may change without notice, however the price at checkout is final once payment is completed.

 

4. PRODUCTION TIMES

•          Wardrobe doors are manufactured to order.

•          Typical production time is approximately 7–14 working days from receipt of payment.

•          Production times may vary depending on finish, size, and order volume.

•          In some cases production may be faster.

 

Orders may enter production immediately after payment is received.

 

5. DELIVERY

 

Mainland UK

 

Delivery is free to most mainland UK addresses via a third-party pallet network service.

 

Some remote or restricted postcodes may incur a surcharge, which will be shown at checkout.

 

Delivery Conditions

•          All deliveries are kerbside only.

•          Delivery is Monday to Friday between 8am – 5pm.

•          The driver will deliver to the nearest safe and accessible point at the kerbside.

•          Drivers are not insured to carry goods inside your home or onto upper floors.

 

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

•          Ensure safe and suitable access for a pallet delivery vehicle

•          Inform us in advance of access restrictions (flats, narrow roads, restricted zones, height limits, etc.)

•          Ensure goods will fit through doorways and into the intended room

 

Refunds will not be issued where items cannot be moved into a property due to access or size constraints.

 

Unloading Responsibility

 

Wardrobes are delivered flat-packed on a pallet and may be heavy and bulky.

 

We strongly recommend that at least two capable adults are present to unload and move the goods safely from the kerbside into the property.

 

The driver is not obliged to assist with unloading beyond positioning the pallet at the kerbside.

 

On Trend Wardrobes Ltd accepts no liability for:

•          Injury sustained during unloading

•          Damage occurring after delivery at kerbside

•          Manual handling once the goods have been delivered

 

Overseas & Non-Mainland UK

•          Additional charges apply.

•          Delivery cost is calculated at checkout or quoted separately.

•          Overseas customers may arrange their own collection.

•          Where we arrange overseas courier delivery, damage claims must be handled via the courier’s insurance.

 

6. RECEIVING YOUR DELIVERY

 

Upon delivery you must:

1.         Check the pallet and packaging before signing

2.         Sign as “DAMAGED” if there is visible packaging damage

3.         Take photographs of any visible damage

4.         Notify us within 48 hours

 

Do not assemble items if damage is suspected.

 

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may result in the claim being declined.

 

Where genuine transit damage is confirmed, replacement parts or items will be dispatched within 7 working days.

 

7. FAILED OR MISSED DELIVERY

 

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer absence or access issues:

•          Redelivery charges will apply

•          Storage charges may apply after 14 days

•          Re-delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer

 

8. CANCELLATION & RETURNS

 

Standard Wardrobe Units (Carcasses)

 

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel standard (non-customised) goods.

 

However, returns will only be accepted if:

•          Goods remain unopened

•          Packaging is fully sealed and undamaged

•          No installation has been attempted

•          Items are returned in original palletised condition

 

The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transport.

 

If goods have been opened, assembled, or handled beyond reasonable inspection, we reserve the right to reduce or refuse a refund.

 

We do not accept returns for:

•          Opened items

•          Assembled items

•          Attempted installations

•          Customer-caused damage

 

Refunds will be processed once goods are received and inspected.

 

Made-To-Order Doors

 

Wardrobe doors are manufactured to your chosen style and paint colour.

 

Under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, cancellation rights do not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

 

Therefore:

 

Made-to-order doors are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.

 

Please check all measurements, finishes and selections carefully before placing your order.

 

9. ORDER ERRORS

 

If we make a manufacturing error, we will replace affected parts at no cost.

 

If a customer makes an ordering error (measurements, colour, design), we may offer replacement parts at our discretion and at cost.

 

10. INSTALLATION

 

Assembly requires practical knowledge and appropriate tools.

 

All fixings required for assembly are supplied. Tools are not included.

 

We strongly recommend checking all components before booking installers.

 

On Trend Wardrobes Ltd is not liable for:

•          Third-party labour costs

•          Installation costs

•          Consequential losses

 

11. LATE DELIVERY

 

We aim to meet estimated delivery times but cannot guarantee specific dates or times.

 

We are not liable for delays caused by:

•          Courier networks

•          Weather

•          Manufacturing supply issues

•          Access restrictions

 

Do not book installers until goods have been received and checked.

 

12. PRODUCT IMAGES

 

Images are for illustration purposes only.

 

Due to natural materials and painted finishes:

•          Colour tone may vary slightly

•          Grain and texture may vary

•          Lighting may affect appearance

 

13. VAT & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

•          UK customers: VAT included.

•          EU business customers: VAT may be zero-rated subject to a valid VAT number.

•          Non-UK customers: VAT rules apply based on delivery destination.

 

Customers collecting goods within the UK must pay UK VAT.

 

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

All website content, designs and imagery are the property of On Trend Wardrobes Ltd and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

 

15. LIABILITY

 

We are not liable for:

•          Indirect or consequential losses

•          Installation costs

•          Delay-related costs

•          Customer measurement errors

•          Damage occurring after kerbside delivery

 

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

 

16. CHANGES TO TERMS

 

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.

 

The terms in force at the time of order will apply.
